You’ll be based in a bright, recently refurbished modern office in the heart of the leafy town of Oxted, which still retains a village feel. There are plenty of retail and lunch choices!

When you start work at Moorgates you’ll receive a competitive salary based on a full-time position depending on your skills and experience. We can talk about this more when you come to meet us. You’ll also get 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. There is no fighting for holiday at Christmas and New Year, as the office is closed to clients, so a long break is open to all.
You will fit this role if you have at least 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice and be able to advise business owner-managers in basic tax planning. You’ll be confident in looking after clients on a day-to-day basis. You’ll know when to pick up the phone, offer a Zoom or just to say, ‘Hi, how are you?’ You’ll love to educate your clients on the best tax, accounting or bookkeeping practices, systems or processes, for their business.
Software used by the firm is CCH, Xero, QuickBooks and Excel, if you have experience in these then that would be great, but not essential.
